Dr Porté completed his medical training at Imperial College London in 2007, during which time he gained a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Medical Imaging,

He undertook his radiology training at Guys and St. Thomas's Hospitals between 2009 and 2014.

He completed a Gastrointestinal and Colorectal Imaging Fellowship in at St Mark's Hospital, London, between 2014 and 2015. He subspecialises in upper and lower gastrointestinal imaging, including hepatobiliary and pancreatic imaging, small bowel MRI, CT virtual colonoscopy and Rectal/Anal MRI.

He was appointed to Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and became a member of KSRG in 2015.
