Dr Chhaya completed his general Medical training in London having also gained a BSc (Hons) in Applied Anatomy for which he was awarded First class honours and received the Hunter Prize from the University of London.

He completed his Surgical training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and gained membership of the Royal College of Surgeons. He then undertook Radiology training at the Royal Free Hospital.

He is double fellowship trained in his areas of subspecialty interest. He completed a Fellowship in Breast Imaging in London and at Edgware Breast Screening Unit. This was then followed by the highly competitive and extremely prestigious Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging & Intervention in Vancouver, Canada.

He has many publications in peer-reviewed journals and has been invited to present his work on many occasions at both national and international meetings. He holds several professional memberships, including Royal College of Radiologists and British Society of Breast Radiologists but has also been invited to join the prestigious British Society of Skeletal Radiologists.

Dr Chhaya was appointed to Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in 2014.
