Dr Wakeham trained at Corpus Christi College Oxford and The Royal London Hospital Medical School, and completed his surgical rotation at Brighton.

He undertook his radiology training at Charing Cross and Hammersmith, and has been a Consultant at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Trust since February 2012. He subspecialises in breast and musculoskeletal radiology.

He has publications in peer reviewed journals including British Journal of Radiology and Clinical Radiology and has the following professional Memberships: Royal College of Radiologists, BSBR (British Society of Breast Radiology)
